If all you are looking for is personal hosting for a site that you are not really trying to make money from, then you don’t need as expensive of hosting as you would want for a business. You can use shared hosting since it is the cheapest option and it will do everything you need. However, if you plan to store videos, a large amount of pictures, or music you may need to upgrade to a better shared package or to VPS hosting.
